VAGUE D'OR

According to Greek mythology, beyond the western horizon lays the Garden of the Hesperides, where golden fruits grew beneath eternal sunlight. Vague d'Or conjures the radiance of this mythical paradise. Fruits, flowers and spices shimmer like sunlight reflected upon the sea, while vanilla and cocoa evoke the warmth of golden shores kissed by the setting sun. A tide of abundance rising from legend.

"I wanted to express the sensation of sunlight dancing across the sea landscape. Bergamot and cardamom bring sparkling energy, while iris and rose add elegance and softness. Designed in 1995 by Michael Foerster, the bottle is a collectible design object and a landmark of contemporary perfume design. Its asymmetrical silhouette appears to emerge from a single movement, balancing tension and fluidity. The form captures light from multiple angles.

Spray generously onto the body’s pulse points, where the warmth of the skin helps reveal the fragrance's evolution: focus on the neck, wrists, inside of the elbows, behind the ears and the décolleté, and let the fragrance unveil new facets as it interacts with the skin. For a more enveloping trail, mist lightly onto clothing from a 20cm distance.
